What is the secret of a successful maintenance hike? The weather and the people who participate. And we can say with confidence that the 3rd maintenance hike for 2026 was extremely successful. Postponed due to bad weather, we walked the route waymarked with no. 6, in its section from Vourkoti to the monastery of Agios Nikolaos. The eleven-member team not only tirelessly pruned unruly vegetation, removed garbage, branches, and stones, but also became a company. Nature at its best, the brilliant sun that highlighted all the shades of green, the blue sky, the running waters under the bridge of the Achlas River where the big stop of the day took place. Dear friends, thank you and we will see you again in person on the next maintenance hike!
