On Easter Monday, April 21st, join us for a hike along the route Ano Pitrofos – Paleopolis and celebrate with Easter delicacies and Tsounia offered by the people of the Paleopolis Cultural Association.
We will walk along a branch of the so-called “Ample Way” (“Fardia Strata” or “Arvanitikos Dromos”), one of the longest and most significant routes on the island, which connects Central and East Andros with the North and Southern parts traversing Mount Petalo. We will pass through wooded areas of the trail, offering stunning views of the coastline.
After the hike, those who wish can take part in the traditional game ‘Tsounia’ and enjoy a meal with Easter delicacies offered by the members of the Palaeopolis Cultural Association. (Indicative cost: 2 euros per souvlaki)
Difficulty level: medium-difficult
Distance: 5,2 km
With our steps, we are helping to keep the path open! Along the way, we will also cut back any vegetation that has grown back to block the path and clear garbage.
