So far we have cooperated with :

  • recording more paths, local area names as well as points of interest (springs, agricultural or other monuments)
  • organizing voluntary actions to clear paths
  • organizing hiking excursions
  • participating at or organizing numerous meetings, awareness campaings and conferences about Andros’ nature and culture
  • informing them about the condition of the paths netowrk and requesting for its maintenance
  • participating on Andros’ tourism promotion, providing informative material for tourism exhibitions
  • participating in the creation of informative material for hiking on Andros, with the cooperation of other parties
  • making together contacts with representatives of the tourism market in order to attract hiking tourism on Andros
  • guiding interested individuals and representatives of the tourism market and policy makers (agents, writers, television teams, and more) on the beauties of Andros during their visits on the island

Members

Since 2010, that Andros Routes Project was initiated it has been absolutely based on the voluntary work of our team.

A small group of researchers are cooperating in a voluntary basis to materialise Andros Routes Project.

Since 2014, we are pursuing support to our efforts through membership contributions and donnations. More information here.

offering way mark signs and sign posts according to European Standards, based on our recordings of needs per route (see more here)
