A green route traversing the beautiful mountain range of Gerakonas. Wonderful views towards the ravines and woods of the Mesaria valley. The picturesque settlements of Vrachnou, Fallika, Aladinou, the Foros cave and the arched bridge of Aladinou settlement along with the numerous springs of the the village are just some of the many attractions.

• We start from Vakoni from where we are transferred to Livadia by minibus
• We then start hiking from Livadia along the beautiful “steni” path and then towards Prophet Daniel chapel
• Passing by the historical village of Petrias we move towards Falika and Aladinou villages. In Aladinou we have the chance to see the beautiful arched bridge and the option to visit the cave Foros – for those who want (entrance 5 euros)
• We end up at Vakoni

Difficulty level: medium-difficult

Distance: about 8 km or 9 km for those who wish to visit the Cave Foros

With our steps we are helping to keep the path open! Along the way we will also cut back any vegetation which has grown back to block the path and clear any garbage.
