On Thursday June 26th 2025, our organization, Andros Research Center, was invited by the Andros Prefecture, Mrs. Anna Vrettou, to participate in the Aegean Forum-Andros 2025, organized by the Union of Young Local Authorities of Greece (ENA) and the Andros Prefecture with the support of the Municipality of Andros. 

The event, held in the conference room of the High School in Chora, Andros, aimed to bring together key stakeholders from the public and private sectors regarding sustainable tourism in Andros and served as a platform for initiating dialogue and exchanging views on issues of concern to the island.

During the Forum, we were given the opportunity to present the long-term work of the Andros Routes project, which in a few days will be 15 years old, as well as our additional actions in the fields of study and promotion of the natural and cultural heritage of Andros. More specifically, the recording of oral history,  the recording of points of interest and monuments of the rural area of ​​Andros, as well as the recording of damage to dry stone walls, the dry stone repair action. Finally, our actions for the study, safeguard and promotion for the traditional management of surface waters in Andros, as well as our new action for Andros lemon production.
