Several years have passed since the last information event regarding the installation of industrial wind turbines in Andros and there have been many developments.
These concern both the international energy situation, national planning and its implementation in Andros.

We are therefore organizing an event where there will be a description of the characteristics of the planned and currently implemented projects, their cumulative impacts on the landscape and tourism of Andros, the contradictions between this development and other plans for the island, etc. Our guests will present with their speeches the international, national and local picture and will describe, based on their knowledge, the environmental, social and economic impacts of the massive installation of energy infrastructure.

After the speeches, a discussion will follow, from which we hope to draw a conclusion on whether these projects are compatible with the Cycladic landscape, the well-being of the residents and sustainable tourism.
