I grew up in Athens, but I spent all my holidays and school days in Neimporio with my grandmother, an Andriotissa, who essentially raised me. Since I was little, I had the Andrio landscape before my eyes, either walking with my beloved uncles who were mountaineers, or through my grandmother’s stories about legends and stories of the island. I also passed on my great love for my special homeland to my husband, with whom we have been enjoying its beauties by walking around and enjoying nature since 1990, while still students at the University, until today together with our other two great loves, our daughters.
I studied Economics and did a master’s degree in Economic & Regional Development. I also studied at the postgraduate program in Management & Development of Cultural Organizations of Panteion University and the Certified Career Counselors of the University of Piraeus. I worked in research programs of the University and followed 20 years in Banks as a Consultant to small businesses and professionals. 2 years ago I returned to the island and got involved in the tourist exploitation-rental of real estate, while I continue my collaboration with a scientific team on career counseling for minors and the unemployed.
For years now, I have considered the contribution of the people of Andros Routes to be great, and I am particularly happy that I am now in a position to contribute to this entire effort.
