The Andros Route features in the new Leading Quality Trails – Best of Europe Booklet!

Next month on 25^th October 2017 the Andros Route will reach the 2 year milestone as a certified continuous 100k hiking route awarded the quality label “Leading Quality Trails – Best of Europe” issued by the European Ramblers Association. As part of our involvement with this certified program the Andros Route has been included in the latest version of the booklet promoting all 14 certified routes.

This year’s brochure, like last year is bilingual, in English and German, is in a larger format with a higher specification, improved photographs and updated text. The booklet was released end of May 2017.

The booklet will be distributed at tourism exhibitions attended by all 14 hiking partners across Europe helping to increase the visibility and profile of Andros as hiking destination. In addition, the booklet will be given a targeted distribution in Germany as it will be an insert in the German Hiking Federation’s 2017 hiking magazine. The magazine has 17,000 subscribers and the Federation 6,000 members all with an interest in the kind of hiking available on Andros. The magazine will be widely distributed in the largest tourist exhibitions in Germany.

The booklet will be provided to the Andros Municipality for use in subsequent tourism exhibitions attended by the Andros Municipality and the Region of South Aegean.
